Inspecting the pit is made up of two chicks, Aurora and Emma who hail from the greatness of nashville and who have this incredibly strong passion for music.

This site is mainly for those scene kids who listen to hardcore/underground/metalcore/screamo/scene music/hard rock/metal/underground punk/WHATEVER YOU WANT TO CALL IT, music!

Emma listens to this music because its her safe haven. she was an outcast, people spread rumors about her, she had like 2 friends. she needed something to turn her sadness to happiness, music did it for her, and she was comforted when she heard the stories inside the music.

Aurora listens to this music because its something that is real. through all the crap of day to day life, and all the people telling you what you can and can’t be and all the things that are out of your reach, her music is the place where she can let go.

Inspecting the pit aka ITP, was created for the sole purpose of releasing the history, stories, and meanings that were created in each and every song.

The thing that angers them the most is when kids these days go to shows to be “cool”. ex: when they see a band on tv, or a kid wearing a band shirt at school, or on the street they go and learn to listen and like that kind of music, just because they think its “in”. its not. underground is meant to be elite from the streets not to be freakin popular.
